Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the 2Hame website, mobile experience, and related services (the "Platform"), operated in Kenya. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Who can use 2Hame

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under Kenyan law to create an account. If you are listing a property or offering moving services, you confirm that you have the legal right to do so - as the owner, an authorized agent, or under a valid moving/logistics permit or license where required.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Property listings

2Hame is a platform that connects property owners, house hunters, and movers - we are not a party to any tenancy, sale, or service agreement formed between users. Owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listings (price, availability, condition, photos) and for complying with applicable Kenyan landlord-tenant and property law. 2Hame may remove listings that are inaccurate, fraudulent, duplicated, or that otherwise violate these Terms, at our discretion.

4. Mover marketplace

Movers listed on the Platform are independent service providers, not employees or agents of 2Hame. 2Hame does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services performed by movers, and is not a party to the agreement between a house hunter and a mover. Verify a mover's credentials, insurance, and reviews before booking.

5. Payments

Where the Platform facilitates payments (including via M-Pesa or other supported methods), you agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize the charges you initiate. Fees, where applicable, will be disclosed before you complete a transaction. Refunds are handled per the specific policy shown at the time of payment, where one applies.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings; harass, discriminate against, or scam other users; scrape or misuse the Platform's data; attempt to bypass security measures; or use the Platform for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

7. Content you submit

You retain ownership of content you submit (listings, photos, blog comments, reviews). By posting it, you grant 2Hame a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is." 2Hame makes no warranty that listings are accurate, that movers or owners will perform as described, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, 2Hame disclaims liability for disputes, losses, or damages arising from transactions or interactions between users.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Platform. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
